2021 Community of Hope Women’s Retreat

When?

6pm on Friday, November 5th to 12pm on Sunday, November 7th, 2021

Where?

The Buck Lodge
Epworth Forest Conference Center

8531 E Epworth Forest Road
North Webster, IN

Who is invited?

All women 18 years - 118 years are invited!

How much does it cost?

The all inclusive cost of the weekend is $100.
However, you can get the Early Bird price of $85 by registering and paying in September!

What does the price include?

Everything! This cost includes all meals, lodging, and activities.
You won’t need to spend another dollar that weekend.

How do I pay? What if I can’t afford the full amount?

You can pay with cash or check. Be sure that your name and “Women’s Retreat” are included with your cash or check. Drop your payment off at the Registration Table in the lobby on Sunday morning, or mail it to the church office (208 W Jackson Street, CC).

Financial assistance is available. Call or text Amy Hartzell at (412)913-2718.
We won’t let this be the reason you don’t join us!

What can I expect?

Fun! Good food! New friends! This will be a refreshing weekend for women to connect, learn, and relax. Plan to spend time in large- and small-group settings, and to enjoy a weekend away from your normal routine. We balance spiritual refreshment, time to get to know one another, fun and games, and rest.

What should I bring with me?

The Buck Lodge at Epworth Forest is a clean, comfortable building, and all of our linens will be provided (pillows, sheets, blankets, and towels). Feel free to bring comfortable, casual clothes (sweatpants and slippers are welcome and encouraged!). In addition to your normal weekend necessities, please be sure to bring a Bible (not a digital Bible, please). We will send a sign up sheet to women who register to bring some extra snacks as well!

Sleeping Arrangements

The rooms at the Buck Lodge house 6-8 women each. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. On the registration form you are welcome to request a roommate. If you choose to check the “Surprise Me!” box, please be sure to list any important roommate information, such as “I need white noise” or “I’m an early riser” so we can help you be as comfortable as possible.

Let’s Unplug

While we know it’s probably impossible to unplug completely, we ask that you come prepared to leave your cell phone in your room and refrain from bringing laptops and tablets. Let’s spend the weekend trading iPhones for eye contact!

Emergency Phone Number

If your family has an emergency while you are away, they can call or text Tonya Wike at 260-229-7600. She will have her phone available at all times for this purpose.
